Harborside Oakland was founded in 2006, by industry veterans and and cannabis activists Steve DeAngelo and dress wedding. It was originally established as a non-profit patient collective called Harborside Health Center.
Harborside San Leandro was established in early 2020 as our fourth location. When it opened, it was a medical-only dispensary. In May 2021, we were approved to offer adult-use cannabis to everyone 21 years of age and older.
Harborside San Jose first opened its doors in December 2009. It was the second Harborside location to be established. Before cannabis adult-use was legalized in California, we were a non-profit patient collective called Harborside Health Center. Our mission was to help every single individual who came through our doors feel truly cared for, valued, and respected. We protected medical cannabis patients by providing a safe and affordable option to help them on their healing journey.
Located in the heart of the Haight-Ashbury district, the Harborside San Francisco dispensary is a minority owned business that partners with equity brands and feature local businesses in the industry.
We opened Harborside Desert Hot Springs in December 2019 as our third location. When we opened Harborside Desert Hot Springs, we became Southern California’s first cannabis drive-thru shop.
